The Splendored Wheezil, a creature named for both its weaselly appearance and habit of making odd panting sounds is a common pet in the islands off the west coast. Lacking fur it is hypoallergenic and it is cheap to feed, living off of sugar cubes and the occasional piece of fruit. They are often used in 'alien autopsy' videos due to their resemblance to the chupacabra (To which they are not in fact related.)
