This is about 2" at its widest.
The hole is large enough to accomodate a thin cord.

Studio clay.

Also I know it isn't really horticulturally accurate for a sunflower - I was just playing around. I may be more detailed next time.

You made this out of clay? It seems so flexible!

Hello. We are the letters in this sentence, and we would just like to express our appreciation of you reading us.
It isn't as fragile as you might think. You can buy "super-flex" bendable clay, but this isn't quite that bendable. :)

Now you have me thinking of Springtime and flowers! Nice job on this. :)

Thank you very much! :D
I hadn't thought of how warm this looks.
Mostly it was the fact that yellow, green and brown are the only colors of clay I bought. ;)

Aaa Studiooooo
How did it work for you??? Your new flowers are beauteeful!
Oh thanks! It doesn't feel much different than normal clay.
I don't see anything much different. It does end up as "matte-er" than the other. Which is kind of nice. As you can see by all this clay, I only bought yellow, brown, and green. (Er, butterscotch, cappucino, and patina, ha, for those trying to play along with actual clay) I still only used a tiny bit of the clay since the blocks are bigger than normal Sculpey blocks, and I made itty bits of jewelry. (3 oz)

I am tempted to say it doesn't pick up fingerprints quite so easily as normal clay but that could be my imagination.

Everything picks up my fingerprints! Auuughtthgh my JoAnn still didn't have any when I checked this weekend. I just wanted to try a pack or two.
Yeah I still would rather deal with fingerprints than nasty latexgloveprints.
