I hate breaking toes. I kept slamming into the same one all summer long last year, if it wasn't broke by hitting the table leg, it was certainly the time I missed my footing and slammed my foot down so hard on the cat litter box edge that it flew everywhere... or when I hit the fan's metal base... or... yeah. i freaking hate that. *hugs*

I broke my little toe once. Then I had to wear steel-toed shoes to work that were slightly ill-fitting to begin with D: With a broken toe, they were agonizing. But I never went to a doctor or anything (no insurance), and my toe healed up okay. At least, it's straight and doesn't hurt when I bend it.


Although I had a lovely bruise that covered over half my foot from that incident. o_o

I think it must strongly depend on how you break it. I know I saw my pastor's wife break a little toe and do nothing about it & let it heal. I thought they would just tape the toe, I didn't think they'd make me wear a shoe.
